In partnership with the National Development Bank and the National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform, the Brazilian govt will structure, finance, and raise funds for the Brazilian Amazon’s integrated land and environment planning and regularization program.

The focus is on the socio-environmental development of the region, working on four pillars: land title regularization, environmental regularization, surveying local infrastructure deficit in the localities, and determining economic viability of the settlement project.

More than 15,000 families will be assisted, covering an area of more than 1 million hectares. Around 1,521 hectares of Permanent Preservation Areas (APP) will undergo reforestation process. In total, 31.4 thousand families will benefit.
