The Brazilian government decided to elaborate a research and development plan to decarbonize transportation in Brazil

In a meeting with representatives of the National Association of Automotive Vehicle Manufacturers, who themselves speak for the 6th largest automotive market in the world, the Brazilian government highlighted Federal actions in favor of clean energy and sustainable development.
Therefore, the Brazilian government decided to elaborate a research and development plan to decarbonize transportation in Brazil and will release R$ 9 billion from the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development for this and other sectors, like agribusiness and energy.
